Biographies
Ben Cao
Ben Cao is currently a senior in computer engineering at Iowa State University. He spent his first
ten years in China and developed a curiosity on how things work. After completing third grade, he
traveled to the shores of New Zealand. He spent the next three years broadening his horizon by the rushing
tides of the Tasman Sea. Ben then moved to the United States. During his high school years he developed
physical vigor through his four year varsity cross country career. He also discovered his skills as an artist
when he won the National Scholastic Arts and Writing Gold Key Award for a portrait. Ben has spent his entire
life pushing the boundaries and loved to tackle the challenges along the way. With just a semester to go, he
is ready to face the next challenge after college.
Ben Jusufovic
Ben Jusufovic is a senior in electrical engineering. He is originally from Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina.
He has spent the last 14 years living in Des Moines, Iowa. Currently, he is specializing in analog and digitial
design, control system design, communication systems, electromagnetics, and semiconductors. He has previously
worked at Garmin International and will work for Honeywell KCP for the summer of 2011. He will be graduating in
May of 2012.
Curtis Mayberry
Curtis Mayberry is a senior in electrical engineering. He is originally from Ames, Ia
and graduated from Ames High School in 2007. He is currently specializing in VLSI design
and computer architecture. He has previously worked at Rockwell Collins and will be working
at Texas Instruments next Summer. He will be graduating in the fall.
Thinh Luong
Thinh Luong is a senior in electrical engineering. He is originally from Saigon, Vietnam
and graduated from East High School in 2007. He is currently specializing in VLSI design
and entrepreneurial business. He has previously worked at IBM and will be working
at IBM upon gratuating in the spring
