Final Poster

The final poster outlining the team's last two semesters of work has been posted under Major Reports. 4/25/11

IRP Panel

The team's industrial review panel (IRP), the final presentation of the semester will occur on Friday, April 29, 2011 from 3:00 to 3:30 in Coover 3041. A demonstration of the team's final product will follow the presentation in the Coover hall atrium until 5:00pm. Feel free to stop by to see our demonstration. 4/15/11

Team progress

The team has made a great deal of progress over the past few weeks. The PCB population is nearly complete for the control box and one of the control panels. The microcontroller code is functional on both the STK600 development board and the PCB prototypes, excluding the ethernet transceiver. The team's next step is to perform functional tests both in a temperature chamber and on a steam valve while continuing to work on a few open problems with the prototypes and the web interface. 4/15/11
